We use only 304 & 316 Grade Stainless Steel for all items and chains. This is Surgical Grade quality; it is hypo allergenic, strong & durable. It is also one of the few metals along with Gold and Sterling that is considered a class A material according to The California 65 ruling about non toxic chemicals. It does not require any warning labels about Lead or Cadmium.
Any item that is Gold or Black plated (such as our Lettering or Background color) is plated by an
ION process (IP) which is more durable than normal wet plating processes. In practical terms it means that the lettering & designs will not wear off in time as happens with wet plating processes.
